- Zombification Workshop – Create Your Zombie Alter-Ego
The modern zombie character can be created from all walks of life; any age, sex or nationality. Let’s “brainstorm” and create a back story for your undead monster…Where were you when the zombification took place? What were you doing? How did it happen? And what do you look like now that the change is complete?
In my story, there has been an outbreak of the zombie virus…. and the Library has become headquarters for the Zombie Response Team. As the only safe place left in town, we have set up a research laboratory, to study zombies. We learn techniques to transform ourselves into characters that will fool the eye and let you escape the zombie horde and get home safely. I will teach you how to survive in a zombie infested world!!
Using professional stage makeup and some very ordinary household items, we will transform ourselves with makeup Practice creating burns, wounds, scabs, bruises and more. This is seriously GROSS stuff! Act like your zombie character! Props and Costumes are used as scene-setters for realistic photographic purposes. Be warned…it is seriously awesome! oops… I mean gruesome!
The Library will be serving some pizza after your transformation! You MUST preregister and remember to bring your camera!
Wear OLD CLOTHES as some make up will stain fabric!
